About Course

This course introduces learners to Structured Query Language (SQL) and its application in managing and analyzing data within relational databases. It is designed for beginners to intermediate learners and anyone who wants to learn SQL, regardless of prior experience. The course covers essential database concepts, SQL syntax, data creation, data querying, table relationships, and aggregation techniques. It also includes practical, real-world projects to help learners apply SQL skills in business and data analysis environments.

What Will You Learn?

  • In-depth Understanding of SQL and Database Fundamentals
  • You will gain a strong foundation in database concepts and Structured Query Language (SQL), starting from the basics. This includes learning how data is stored and organized in relational databases, understanding tables, rows, columns, and data types, and recognizing the role of primary and foreign keys in maintaining data integrity. You will also explore different types of SQL commands and how they are used to define, manipulate, and control data within a database system.
  • Database Creation, Data Management, and Querying Skills
  • You will develop practical skills in creating and managing databases using SQL. This involves creating databases and tables, inserting and importing data from CSV and Excel files, and managing existing data efficiently. You will learn how to write well-structured SQL queries using SELECT statements, WHERE clauses, comparison and logical operators, ORDER BY, LIMIT, and DISTINCT to retrieve accurate and meaningful data. Emphasis will be placed on writing clean, efficient queries for real-world data scenarios. Advanced Data Analysis Using JOINs and Aggregation Techniques.
  • You will learn how to analyze data across multiple related tables by applying SQL JOIN operations such as INNER JOIN, LEFT JOIN, and RIGHT JOIN. In addition, you will use aggregate functions like COUNT, SUM, AVG, MIN, and MAX alongside GROUP BY and HAVING clauses to summarize and analyze large datasets. These skills will enable you to generate reports, uncover patterns, and make data-driven decisions in business, academic, and professional environments.
